Our eye doctor takes the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing, and treating potential vision problems.
Dr. Koetter was born and raised in Deer Park, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University with her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from The University of Houston College of Optometry. While at UHCO, Dr. Koetter received the Excellence in Primary Care award. During her clinical rotations she received extensive training in specialty contact lens fittings, the diagnosis and treatment of various ocular diseases, pediatric eye exams, and the care of pre-operative and post-operative LASIK and cataract surgery patients. She is certified by the Texas Board of Optometry as a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
Dr. Koetter is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. In her free time, Dr. Koetter enjoys traveling with her husband Bryan (who assists in all things business at Eye Hub), spending time with family and friends, cycling, and cooking.
